Please add option for reasons to remove posts.
Personal threats have been made to the employees, property and company through your site. We should have the option to have it removed for this reason.
Also, please give us a way to correct false information. I am all for people sharing but when it is outright lies about places it is not fair to the properties. In the last post for Bridges at Wind River, the compaintant states that the apartment is not yet rented and they say that it is and that we are stealing. I can assure you it is not yet we have no way to defend ourselves against these lies.
We offer a way to report reviews that violate our term. Click the “Report Abuse” link at the bottom of any page. We review all complaints and remove any information that violates our terms.
The majority of the time we just remove the violating information rather than delete the entire review. We don’t delete reviews just because an apartment complex asks. All requests are handled using the same criteria.
We only allow for one review per person per property. Multiple reviews aren’t accepted.

There you see another apartment complex manager running their mouth cause they hate to hear the truth.Well the sooner these management companies wake up and start testing these so called managers.Give them an MMPI test or give them a polygraph in which probability 90% would not pass.Learn to be truthful and drop the fake smiles.

Actually, from my experience, it is very difficult to get anything removed from a review except for names. Reviews that attack a person instead of actually reviewing an apartment should not be allowed. I also don't think multiple rantings (reviews) from the same person should be allowed. I know of one case where an x-boyfriend of one manager started dating a manager down the street at another apartment. He wrote six negative reviews in one week and it totally imbalanced the apartment's approval ratings and he never actually lived at the apartment as he claimed. Just because this website states it is not responsible for any of the reviews posted, no matter how untrue or libelous, does not mean this should be allowed. Even Google and YouTube has removed inappropriate videos from their sites. Maybe this site would be more useful if you showed some of the same integrity in monitoring your site as these other websites do.

These comments are made from verious apartment management, who would all love to have the negative removed for reasons that the truth hurts and would,nt know the truth cause they live in their own little world. The reallity is they are out of touch. Most not all of these comments are true but i put the total blame on the apartment complex managers who are suppose to have the knowledge of running a property which most DO not.I,ve wittnessed managers locking the door putting their little sign out be right back while they go shopping, eatting, just hanging out ETC.all before the noon hour. The management compannies are only as good as the floks they put their trust in to run the property.Heres a suggestion for the compannies, when interviewing a candidate please do a full backround check including an MMPI testing. Many of these folks head are oversized thinking they can do whatever.Thank You

I agree with this. You can't please everyone all the time and when you have a tenant who, no matter what you do is not satisfied, slanders the property and it's staff and makes false accusations, we should have the option to have that review removed. I went to your option for reporting abuse but that is not helpful at all when you want false information removed.

I had a review removed for no reason...it did not violate the rules & regulations terms. I am pretty sure it was removed at the request of the complex. I agree with this.

I agree with this. I was personally attacked by an employee that was fired and said some really aweful things about me for revenge. So now by only removing my name it still says the manager just not my name. That is very easy for people to put together when the date is posted as well. We need to have a better way of controlling this site.

If you're going to 'remove' names to protect the innocent, then 'remove' 'all' names to protect the innocent, not JUST management's names. There is something called PRIVACY that former managers are not respecting on this site by posting real names of residents. Also, as another poster stated, when management of an an apartment complex comes in posting annonymously knowing that they ARE, in FACT management and 'argues' with residents about their posts, should be unacceptable. There needs to be a way where if a manager is posting and trying to do it annonymously just to see who is talking about them, that there are ramifications against them for doing so on your site. A bitter manager that is no longer at the apartment complex where I used to reside, is now, 3-4 years later attempting to go back in and name me....by name.....causing slander, and, of couse, doing it annonymously, but it's obvious that it's her because she's the only one that would have had my name as a resident as I never posted my name on your site.

I totally agree with the above. Residents who had been evicted for non payment of rent, etc are allowed to post lies and commit slander against employees and management of the properties. These people are vengeful and vindictive and lack integrity for posting lies just to make themselves look good to themselves.

We've had a resident who's ceiling fell in due to an unreported water leak in the ceiling. The only one who could have noticed the leak and reported it was this resident. We did not charge him for not reporting it as many apartments would have! We gave him another apartment to stay in while repairs were being made. We did everything we knew to do to accommodate him. The repairs were made in 2 days (had to let the area dry out). Yet, he posted pictures of the large hole without comment or explaination. I would like to get these pictures removed. It slanders the maintenance who came in on their day off and fixed everything as quickly as possible. Also, this upstanding gentleman, just moved out & went in the apt. and urniated on everything put poo all over the toilet base, seat, etc. and left several pounds of shrimp between the mattress and the box springs! Yep, real mature; all of the cleaning will cost him money and the only person punished by his actions is the cleaning company cleaning up the mess! Meanwhile he is gone and the pictures remain! There should be equal access for both parties! Even in a court of law you have the right to face your accuser. Here anyone can post anything and if the property wants to write a rebuttal it costs them money; no equal access here!

You need to have a way to report managers that commit fraud and plant reviews. Princeton Property Management does that routinely. Do you keep IP addresses? I'm having to sue them and it would be nice to be able to demonstrate that they out and out commit fraud on a regular basis.

Giving out peoples personal information , phone numbers, etc is not only dangerous, but should be removed same day. Names and personal information is not part of the review. All other information is usually someone who doesnt get their way. I agree there are maybe one in 1000 that are true, but usually, you dont see, " I got evicted for not paying my rent, or not following rules, but the manager follwed policy well and kicked me out!"

I am sorry that there have been threats made toward you and your employees..
Freedom of Speech! Yes, Let them blow their horns as it will come back to bite them. But, in the mean time we have to live thru their terrible accusations. We have a broker we are dealing with and he is some piece of work. Every time we get a great review he writes nasty comments to knock our rating down.................He is one sick puppy . He would like to put our property on the market so he is trying to drive down the ratings and our occupancy.............He is not suceeding as residents get notified and they have really blasted him..............He accuses me of a lot of things and I can honestly say I or my staff are not guilty of one of them...........But I cannot respond to him. Well folks that is my thoughts for the day
It is super hot here in Houston. Have a wonderful daySara E. Meador

Those of you who think this website is hilarious will kearn one day and then you will see that its niot weather a tennat has been evicted or not . A lot of the tennants rights have been violated and the legal system let the landlords do what they want to to people. This website is very informative.. It can help a lot of people and keep them from going through the same thing or havioc that they have gone through, Trust me if you dont have a home already paid for and still dealing with the system of injustice and living in an apartments you will find out sooner or later, Its not retalliation. these guys (landlords ) get away with a whole lot of stuff. Dont take a rocke scientist to figure out everybody saying the same thing are not lying. Thank you for the web site It has helped me a lot in the rental situation,

Most of these comments are (unintentionally?) hilarious - you people need to read up on how freedom of speech works, seriously. If all you want is a site where you can delete everything you don't agree with, start your own.
You're not helping yourselves by posting the near-incoherent rambling comments about the scary people supposedly slandering you, it just makes you look whiny, immature, and uneducated.

In one week we had an ex-employee who was angry maybe over losing an employment claim, who used defamation of character, liable and other slandoureous wording, which was not true, in which could have caused much problems. We were able to have removed a certain part but yet another was left. In that same week a realtor became mad at one property and put the exact same nasty letter on all of the properties, yet we could not take off. When people get mad, especially in this day in time they may say things to cause great damage to someone whether they are falsehoods are not and some even regret what they did, yet great damage has already been done, all because of anger. Sometimes the letters they write feeds the situation and yes could put lives at risk. I know we should have the right to have the letter removed or correct false information, such as putting the same letter on all 3 properties. I understand there will be angry letters, but when the letters slander and have nothing to do with the property, as from a terminated employee, making themselves very clear of who they hate or you have 3 letters, saying the exact same thing for all 3 properties somethings wrong. These type letters should be removed as they are not about the property, only their personal situation.

I agree. the point of this site is so folks looking for a place to live get feed back from other people, but when the review is a lie from the beginning to the end the property should have the right to remove it or resond to every post. you only allow one post per person and one response. not good. I am not an employee of any of the companies, but what is right is right and we should be able to respond to every post if we want to.

I agree. I would like to see the inflammatory comments made about H Howes the female manager for Harbor Heights Manor removed. She was a tough ,but fair manager. She died in September and over 60 of her tenants came to her viewing. I worked with her for ten plus years and loved her as a manager, friend and daughter. Barbara Howes

There is a person who is in the process of being evicted because numerous residents have a restraining order against him, yet he continues to have the ability to abuse these people by his postings on your website. It also turns out staff members and residents at at least 2 of the places he has previously lived have restraining orders and no treaspass orders against him, yet he has the abiltiy to continuously harasse these people with his online posts on this website. You really need to have a way that people can notify you so these posts can be removed or even more so, this person can no longer be allowed to post on your site and continue to abuse these people. I'm sure there must be a way to track and remove all his postings through the two email accounts he uses to post on your site.
