Please leave comments as they are...negative is the truth.
...completely truthful and candor. I am grateful that you have this site, I think you're the only one and not impeding on the first amendment. If I had known about this site, I would of never even live at Park La Brea Village Apartments, and now with every apartment I'm interested in, I look here first to see what was said and 99% of the posts negative or positive, they are true. P.S. these screening suggestions seems suspicious and perhaps coming from management.

Please leave reviews directly on the community's review page. This wouldn't be the right venue as this part of the site is to discuss website issues.

This is a TERRIBLE place to live.

I completely agree that most of what has been posted turns out to be true - just because property managers don't like the truth to be told because it's negative doesn't mean it's not true- LONG LIVE FREE SPEECH.

Park Place apts were, long ago, a great place to LIVE!!! NO LONGER!!! with over 25 managers in the many years we"ve lived here, many tenants have DRUG problems...Sherriff active here WEEKLY!!, property grounds emmenate dog fece odor everywhere, along with cig butts, unsightly litter quite noticeable; parking's a joke... drug deals and sex acts in rear parking area nightly!!!...BRITTAN comer. property mngmnt. are known for their GHETTOS!!! very little respect for their tenants...unless you privately make a SWEET DEAL with the inhouse mngmnt.

I'm 100% with Anonymous. Sometimes sites like this are the only place to hear the truth, unless you happen to know someone who's had issues -- or been delighted -- with a particular rental/sublet/share. I always assume that a certain number of online postings are planted, but in my experience it seems like the planted reviews are the favorable ones. They say nothing negative, use rather boilerplate language, disclose the sender's identity if it's embedded in their email address, etc. Sometimes, though, the negative reviews give you an invaluable heads-up. Paraphrasing some aspect of a review during a face-to-face with your prospective building manager often gets a reaction. If the reaction's defensive -- and especially if it seems like a reflex triggered by something tenants have objected to -- you'll know you're onto something. A negative review also comes in handy when you happen across a current or former tenant in a private setting, where they feel they can speak freely. In such instances, asking that same question works in much the same way.

sorry, but you are wrong not all reviews are truth...I don't believe that management should bribe their tenants, they should just do a good job and to the best of their ability. I don't think management should post as a tenant. I like this site too, but their are many people out there with an ax to grind and they lie. I think other present or past tenants should have the right to post responses to more than one review, not everyone that lives in an apartment knows this site exists.

I have found the instructions are complicated, not able to access areas I wish to read, and have not been able to access information regarding my sign-in information.

I've seen comments disappear that I thought were fair and it makes this a less credible site for honest opinions. Anyone reading thru responses will have to figure out for themselves - as we all have - that the one jerk from Queens has a junk post in every state, and they'll learn to ignore it. By removing ratings posts, your discretion skews approval % for those of us who might disagree with your choices.

That's the purpose of the rating site. People will go out of their way if they have a good experience, and those who have legitimate reason to warn others will, and there are some places that are so obvious because of consistencies over years, and different tones by different people who share the same truths, but in different words. It's time for ethics to be a requirement for Apartment leasing companies, the laws are in their favor, and so many abuse those rights.. Some to the point of being criminal. It's got to start in legislation. But now, all we have is this to protect the consumer from these despicable people. And the only reason anyone would object, is if they're financially effected by the bad reviews, well too bad.. start doing better business and not screwing people so they don't tell the TRUTH about you.

I agree. Most of the negative comments about apartments and managers are realistic.

I agree with you.. One can be mislead through your site.
I am suspecting my reviews were flagged for removal by the apartment management.
I can no longer write reviews / my id & ip address is inactive. I did not abuse anyone . My statements were pretty decent.
