Manage your customer web portal
Every few years I try leaving a review for an apartment complex my family has lived in, as we work with the US government and move about every 2-3 years. And every single time we have trouble logging into our account, despite using the same email address & password for all our reporting web sites, and having recorded this carefully in a spreadsheet. Invariably, we have to have your community send us a password reset, and after following those instructions and trying to log in get an error message that the email address (to which you've just sent our reset link) doesn't match the password (JUST rest). This is absurd. It's 2016, and we have an email from your support staff dating back to 2014 apologizing for the inconvenience, alerting us that your tech staff is working on the issue. ... I really don't mean to seem snide, but what good is a client reporting site if it's so hard to log into our accounts to report. That alone creates a significant reporting bias as most people will just LEAVE without reporting once they experience your error message, meaning those of us who're depending on the cooperation of a large community will lose the breadth and variety of reviews we otherwise would find valuable.
For our part, we won't use Apartment Ratings anymore. We'll stick to Google Reviews and Yelp--as we've never had any trouble logging into either of those sites.
