Improve functionality of the 'response' feature
Why are you limited to only one response to a review? As a potential resident, I requested more info from a review - and they supplied it. So now there is no way for me to follow-up.
When you post more than one response, it transparently replaces your first one with no notification whatsoever. No warning message, it just reloads the same page with your text still in the textarea - how to know if it was even successful? How about some user feedback? If I post a response that starts a good discussion and I try and post again, it removes the original post which makes the resulting discussion make no sense.
Please implement some basic user feedback when posting responses, and make the feature more useful by allowing followup responses.
We removed the comment features due to abuse.

I agree, the limits to replying or even posting a review should be generous not limiting. If a review is a complaint then the problem is fixed a person should be able to post a new review all together if they want to or post an update fo their own review without using up their chance to post in the future as circumstances evolve, good or bad

I forgot one last thing. Why oh why do you remove line breaks? Who thinks it is easier to read one long blob of text?
Instead of filtering them out, just search for multiple repeated line breaks and replace with a single one, if you are afraid of people abusing them.
Don't negatively impact general readability because you think some people might use too many line breaks.
