Review several of the post for the Summer Brook Apartment in Fort Worth, TX.
I don’t know how much good this will do but… If anyone at Apartmentratings.com should read this I would suggest that you evaluate several of the review being posted on the Summer Brook Apartment website. It is obvious that several of the recent negative reviews are being created by the same person. I understand that this is a rating site and that both negative and positive reviews should be allowed on this page but when someone goes out of their way to create a false identity in an attempt to lower the apartment complex’s ratings and the manager’s integrity I think that person needs to be stopped. I have always loved the website, and have recommended it to several of my friends. Therefore, I do not think it adds to the company’s credibility if obvious violations of the user agreement are being allowed on this website. I do not work for the company and gain nothing from writing this, and if it is necessary I am more than happy to prove my identity and show that it is consistent with the information I provided when I registered for this website and also that I have never been employed with the company. I wonder if all these “people” who are posting negatively will be able to prove who they are. I find it hard to believe that an apartment complex that only gets an average of about two negative reports a year all of a sudden receives 20 negative reviews all within two weeks and they are all roughly about the same subject. One goes even as far as to use the manager’s name as their user name! I understand the freedom of speech but not the abuse of it. I hope you will take the time to review the posts and make the decision for yourself.
The best way to flag reviews is to use the “report” link. That will be submitted to our abuse team for investigation.

WELL SAID. We are having a similar problem with our community's page regarding a very disgruntled previous resident. As a member of management, it's nice to know that there are residents like you out there who do in fact appreciate management's attempts to remove such disruptive individuals from your communities. What's even more refreshing is the fact that there's people like you who stand up for such unjust and inappropriate behavior, without being linked to a property. While we're irritated by the unfair actions of this past resident, we have refused to stoop to their level by retaliating. Instead, we simply hope that those who view our page will make logical conclusions based on their own inquiries and findings rather than basing their entire opinion on the repeated false information posted by another. I think your point is one of the main things affecting the usefulness of this site. It's a shame but unfortunately, at this point, nothing can be done.

Yeah it's really sad when this happens because many will see the low recommendation rate and move on.
What bothers me most is that management that actually does their job and does it well are the ones most likely to be targeted by the riftraft they booted. I love apartments where the staff actively pursue people who are trashy and disruptive. It's far too easy in business to be apathetic once the sale has been made.
I don't work for an apartment. I just want to see honest and legitimate reviews. I see many reviews going after the staff for doing their job and abiding by the rules. For example, many apartments have at least 1 person who complains about being charged a pet fee for having a pet and feels that it should not apply to him or her because it's taking care of Fido for a week while a friend is on vacation. This is unfair to those who do have to pay the pet fees (something I agree with because on the whole pets are pretty destructive b/c of careless owners).

I don't know about this community but we have had the same thing happen at one of ours. The same person is logging in as anonymous but then posts the same thing over and over. It is so obvious but nothing can be done about it.
