Add crime data in addition to sex offender data.
I was surprised to see that you have a sex offender data feature but no crime data. When I'm moving into a new neighbourhood, I want to know how many muggings, shootings, and robberies there have been in the past few years. I'm sure that sex offender data is useful for women and people with kids, but surely general crime data is more useful for all of us!

You're are concerned about rape and you don't care if there is a sex offender living nearby? Are you an idiot?

I was so excited to see your safety info listed, however, I'm alot more concerned about theft, rape, and murder than if there's a sex offender living near by. Consider putting REAL safety information online.

I am offended to see Reg. Sex Offender data only. Most RSO's are young 18 yr olds caught with a lying 14 yr old girl or they saw Porn via Time Warner & police were called in. Review your facts. How about car thefts, muggings, domestic violence, drunk driving etc... things that have more impact to my safety.

One of the problems I see is there really is no standard database. It's different city-by-city. While on the other hand sex offender databases have been consolidated on the internet via States which require registration at the State level.
Also many cities only give a rough location of crimes in the blotter.
Crime Mapping is a great site if your city is on it: http://www.crimemapping.com/
However in my case of living in the DFW area, it only covers Fort Worth crimes. Not Dallas, Arlington, Plano, Lewisville, etc.
Maybe soon we'll have Google Crime. But for now the only national databases I could find only deal with looking up criminals themselves.
