  1. Look Into Shilling by Manager

    There is a whole lot of 5 star fake shilling going on by management of my complex, which is dishonest and defeats the whole purpose. You can tell review is phony by the raving about things no one cares about "the lawns are mowed" and things like "management is fantastic", and no specific things given. Seems to me my manager is trying to take the easy way to her own job security instead of actually listening to feedback she is getting. This board is not for her job security but to assist potential renters.

  2. get the correct names of apartment complexes or allow user to add complex

    I can't find my apartment complex listed and don't know how to add a new apartment. There is a similar named complex (which is owned by the same company) but it is in a different city. Please allow users to add a complex in order to review it - I have a very important message about where I live concerning bugs.

  3. Apt/ 111. requested a shower head over a week ago. Need hot water checked again in bath. Can barely take a shower and cannot fill bathtub

    Read above. Need shower head and hot water checked in bath. Can barely take a shower and can't fill tub for hot bubble bath. the water is hot in kitchen but not kitchen.

    Try searching for your community’s name on ApartmentRatings.com and then you’ll be able to leave a review there which will help your management company understand improvements they should make.

  5. change ratings scale to be more fair

    Currently on the apartment page of the site, we display "% recommended" for an apartment. We've heard feedback that a score below 75% seems bad, when in fact it may be perfectly respectable.

    The idea is to convert the large score to a relative scale.

    • what should it be called so that it's clear to users what it is?

    • what should it be based on? idea: percentile score relative to closest 50 properties not more than 20 miles away
