These site does more good than harm, because if we had known about it before move in, we could have been prepared for the pitfalls. No place is perfect, and even when we read negative comments, we still gave two places the benefit of the doubt. When managers give a form letter reply, it is not a genuine concern about living conditions. When improvements are not made, that means management does not care -period. Apartment websites are supposed to sell images. Their ratings are based on new tenant cards which can reverse after move in after the tenant is no…

My bad if I overlooked but I suggest if the site can have a sort by "Ratings" functionality & export to Excel function
There's a sort by functionality on the main site, it has recommended option but no the ratings option, i suggest if the site has sort by ratings, also if the site has a number mentioned next to those green boxes for ratings, its easier to read than interpret 1/4th of box. lastly if the site has some mechanism to export data to word or excel.

verify if a poster has been evicted
If someone is evicted than naturally they are going to try and diminish the property's reputation because they are disgruntled. I am sure that many people read the comments but have you ever thought of the people who actually write the comments? This website reminds me of ratemyprofessor.com because only people who had the absolute best or absolute worst experience are going to comment, and usually it is the ladder. If you ask an individual whose fault it is that they are or have been evicted, the majority of them will say that it is the landlords fault. Perhaps you…

Arbors at Magnolia is being confused with Arbors at Magnolia Park, please correct.
Arbors at Magnolia, located in Anaheim Ca is being confused with Arbors at Magnolia Park located in Santee Ca, please correct. I own the Arbors at Magnolia located in Anaheim and we are working on getting our rating level improved. Apparently "Arbors at Magnolia Park" is popping up when the user enters "Arbors at Magnolia"

It is a shame that your site allows focus on negative.
It is shameful that your site basically promotes negative and not positives. It is basically human nature to post negative issues than to praise when positive things are happening. There are blatant lies and discriminatiry statements made and your site allows and tolerates it. I am personally offended that you have allowed these nasty statements to remain and even make it to your website to be seen. YOu all should be ashamed of yourselves!!!

We don’t get involved in resident-management disputes.
However, we also have tools to help you cultivate reviews and reach your happy residents as well. We believe in a fully balanced view as that is highly informative to prospective residents.

ERROR: When I click the link to edit a review I created, it shows a screen to create a new review
The website will apparently not allow editing of an existing review, even through there is a link provided for that function

Improve functionality of the 'response' feature
Why are you limited to only one response to a review? As a potential resident, I requested more info from a review - and they supplied it. So now there is no way for me to follow-up.
When you post more than one response, it transparently replaces your first one with no notification whatsoever. No warning message, it just reloads the same page with your text still in the textarea - how to know if it was even successful? How about some user feedback? If I post a response that starts a good discussion and I try and post again,…

Allow wanted ads
It might help if people could post wanted ads for what they are needing, so that they can get even more help.

Remove old reviews about a complex when it's bought by a new company and changed names

Vista ranch in lewisville spent a lot of money on fixing foundation issues and changed management3 votesWe can’t remove reviews every time the name of a property is changed or it changes ownership. Unfortunately some companies change names on properties without changing much else. Over time older reviews are phased out of the overall score for each property.

You may sign up as a standard user of the site and post a response to any review. The fee is charged only if you would like to post as the verified owner or manager of a property.

you allowed people who do not live there to post false information, why?
I live there have a lease and know how it has been for me, yet you allow false statements to be posted that hurt our community. shame on you.

Review Responses
Include an apartment sorting option based on amount of responses to reviews. Higher amounts of responses filter to the top of a search. Or simply include a "Most Active" apartment list. Or just show an "Amount of Responses" number in the actual review bracket. Terrific site regardless of the change!

Remove posts older than 3 years.
Alot can change over 3 years and the bad reviews from 6, 7, 8+ years ago are really hurting our property and there have been so many improvements as well as management changes.

Old, dated reviews should be deleted because info that is several years old isnt helpful anymore
There should be a time out when this website takes reviews down, because if I am thinking of moving to a place, I only want recent reviews. The info can easily change over several years. This is in both directions, a good place could turn into a rundown bad place in 5 years, and a bad place could be cleaned up and better in 5 years.
